Women's Conference - March 2015

I was so excited to take our Kalaya to Conference, now that she is 8 ! :)  She was really nervous about going, but I reassured her that it will be great.

☆ We would get to be together, without the Jarman boys.
☆ They will have a mix and mingle before & after.
☆ Some friends might be there.
☆ We will be hearing from an Apostle and other important members.
☆ They might have snacks and treats.

She finally said that she wanted to go,  but was still leery.  We got her ready and off we went.   They had some GF bundt cakes, so we had a little piece.

Afterwards,  we listened to the Conference in the Cultra Hall.  It seemed like it was more directed to youth, because of the music and videos of families singing.

It really emphised the roles of parents in the family,  according to the 'Proclamation to the Family'.

Afterwards we had fun in the foyer with balloons & hilarious picture props.   Then chatted with friends in the ward and Kalaya's, activity day teacher. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend time together!

Lego Land - 2015

On monday during our vacation were able to use our free Lego Land tickets, from a last year.  I am so glad that they didn't expire yet.   The kiddos were excited to go, last time we went was when Bayd was, 1 year old.  The kiddos didn't 'melt' to many times there,  but they sure had their moments.

Right when we got there( when it opened),  Levi, Kalaya and I ran to the sky cruiser ride,  because last time it was crazy busy and weren't able to go.  It only took us 1 1/2 hours- Kalaya didn't end up going after all. But finally we got to ride those bikes!

We connected up with the others.   We found Bayden's favorite ride,  the little airplane.  He was laughing the whole time and wouldn't have cared if we stayed there all day!  :)

There were allot of play areas all over,  which were fun!  We enjoyed the 4D movie (I wish I had a picture of the kids with glasses on)  Firetruck race,  Fireman challenge,  drivers school, Miniland USA,  helicopter rides, lego store, mothers lounge, factory tour,  pirates ship, police and fire academy & flight quadrant.

The kiddos did pretty good and I was so thankful for the stroller.  Honestly,  I don't know how the pioneer women did it!

We stayed the whole time-when the park opened to when it closed.

Afterwards, the older kids and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub,  while Sariya rested comfortably in the room with Daddy.

Daddy then took the kids to the Del Taco right down the block for dinner,  along with the fruit and avacados in the room.  After the kiddos got ready get for bed.  Then I enjoyed a salad in the fabulous lobby, all by myself.   For the most part- eventually Levi figured it out.  It was nice to get a relaxing moment, after my emotionally taxing day of encouraging gratitude and kindness towards one another.   ;) (at least Jesus loves me for that!)

The next morning,  we took the kids to the beach one last time and got them each shirts, shades and flips flops.  It was the perfect "Icing on top of the vacation cake", they absolutely loved it!

Anyhow,  I can't wait to go back & have Reed be my driver!

I have already started to plan the activities, I can't wait!   :)

Gymnast's & Aunt Emma's dance

Here is my lovely ladies,  ready for gymnastics.   They are loving it, for the most part! It is such a confidence builder,  so I am grateful that we go once a week!  :)

Also, Aunt Emma went to her first dance with a good guy!  Here is her before and afters!

Oceanside 2015

We loved spending time in Oceanside,  the weather was perfect!  Not too hot, not too cold!

We had the pleasure of having Reed for the whole weekend.   We were surprised that we have seen him home all week before we left.   He usually is a 'traveling fool',  I asked him about why we have been so spoiled lately and he responds with,  "it's the calm before the storm"!

We arrived at 1 am Saturday morning,  daddy drove most of the way.   I didn't realize how bad my stigmatisim is,  because I could barely drive at night.  Wowzers, need to get my eyes checked! I am so thankful for my husband, because when night comes I am like a 'blind dead fish'! I was so tired shipping out stuff for Reed,  packing the house, cleaning the house, etc. So I am extremely grateful for his skills especially when we travel!

Aunt Julia and Uncle Tyler were here!  I made a collage of their family! It was such a fun time being with them! And 'Holy sugar smacks' they have their hands full with those 2 babies,  those are some adventures little speedy men!

We began the morning with Breakfast at downstairs and enjoyed complementary meals for the kiddos! ♡ They even had tv's at the tables!  They know how to keep the noise down♡

We then went to the Ocean where apparently there was a Surfing contest was going on.   We had a great time,  enjoying the beach!  The kids and cousin's enjoyed running from and after the tide!  We then buried some of them (notice how Kalaya is getting eaten by a shark).  Aunt Julia gets 'mad props' for keeping these kids entertained while I was nursing the baby!  And while Tyler and Reed were 'man handling' our own baby boys!

We then went back to enjoy the pool and get some lunch.   The boys watched the babe's,  while us ladies went to the beach to get an Italian soda.  It was nice to have time to spend with my sister,  we talked of future trips that we could plan!

When dinnertime rolled around, we got ready for Joe's Crab Shack.  It was pretty packed and a little warm at first.   But it was good food and the kiddos were doing pretty good,  but needed to be wrestled on occasion!  We then went and got jawbreaker' s and ice creams to finish the night!

We got to enjoy one more breakfast and swim before they got everyone loaded up and took off.  We loved being with them and am so thankful that they reserved us a hotel spot at a discounted rate!!

The kiddos didn't really know what to do with themselves, now that the cousins 'abandoned' them. Hopefully we can get the same Spring Break next year! ( I will get my mom on that.  She is good at getting things done! ♡)

Discovery Park

We decided to go out as a family to the Discovery Park,  for Martin Luther King day!

This is a well known park, that is located right by the kiddos school and the gilbert temple.

It even had the cultural celebration on the soccer fields, that Aunt Emma participated in!

This park was busy with lots of; kids, parents, bikes, skateboards, balls, parties, food,  picnic tables,  3 ponds and lots of bees.

We got some good exercise in and learned how to avoid collisions with oncoming boarders.

The kids were really worn out towards the end.  What a great park and a great view!

So thankful for these moments together!

Everyone needs to party sometimes

We had a good time with cousins and friends this weekend,  while Dad was out at the dunes riding on his 'supped out bike'.

We enjoyed some pizza, salad, chips and donuts.  (My grandma is a vegetarian; so I know that I need to 'step up' and provide better food options for the kiddos)

Any who!  We had teetherball, a roaring fire, swings, glider,  firework and marshmallows to roast!  And trust me, all of it was 'used and abused'!

The party ended with some sky lanterns,  with lots of lighters involved. .. and yes,  no lanterns got caught in trees! Which means that it was a great success! !

Here are a few pictures of the grand Fiesta!  I hope you all enjoy!

Castles & Coasters

On a Saturday when Reed was busy working,  we decided to go to the coveted theme park, Castles and Coasters.  I was warned that it might be located in the ghetto,  so I felt right at home! ! ;)

We were told that it was a good time, by pogo discount friends of ours.
And geez, oh geez, it was! !

It has been super intimidating to get back in the swing of things with my little babe, who wants to nurse all the time; without my mam friend. .....

But we did it,  the crowds weren't too big and the rides were just right and we truly enjoyed the park.   No one wanted to leave when we needed to! !

We are hoping to go back soon! !  Because in the 4 hours that we were there, we couldn't ride all of the rides...

I was so impressed with my kids,  what daredevils! ! ;)
