Reed and his birthday.

So, of course my husband was working,  out of town oon his birthday! :/

So we were unsure what to do? ?????

Wait for it. .....

So we celebrated without him!!
BOOYAH!  The kids had a blast and we made him a yummy salad when he came back.

He loved it,  no fuss; he doesn't really like parties anyways! !:)

Happy 31st Reed, you still are goodlooking and fresh;  we super duper love you; ( and we love to party! )

Enjoy your cheesy salad, ( fresh from our neighbors)!

Kalaya being determined!

This sweet princess has wanted to get her ears pierced for a couple years now.

We have tried to put it off, like what our parents did.  Growing up, Reed's family did it around baptism age and I had to wait until I was 16.

However,  I eventually gave in because she promised that

-she was going to be completely responsible and take care of them all by herself; and was informed of the consequences if she didn't take good care.

-there has been no church talks opposing this action

-and vaccines are poking holes in her 'Beautiful Temple' anyways!

-went to Sally's multiple times,  and talked to them about the process.

So I felt that she was completely informed of the choice that she wanted to make.

She wanted to have Aunt Emma hold her hand.

We went to Icing in the Santan Mall and again asked if she was sure; And she was.

She knew exactly what earing she wanted. Similar to her class friend's!

---I was surprised that she did it!
She is one determined lady, sometimes.

She got very quite during the process and said that it  'hurt a little bit.'

Haha,  what an strong lady we have!

*I hope that this a good sign of what her teenage years will be like :P

Update::: she still loves them and is doing a great job cleaning them 3 x's a day!

We ♥ you! :)

Happy Birthday too me!!

I really was spoiled this year! ! And I loved it! :)
I went out to lunch with a new friend in the ward! We had a blast,  we had so much in common! She even paid, Score!:)

Reed surprised me with a box of chocolate strawberries! :) yummy.

Then a surprise date night. The kids were dropped off at Papa's house first (they didn't want to leave, when the party was all over). Then off we went, to Dave and Busters .

When we walked in, it was big Surprise!! Some of my family was there! :)

There was balloons, flowers, card and cake!
*I loved it, I really tried to enjoy the fun time!

We even got some crazy glasses in the end, with the ridiculous amount of tickets that John and Emma won!

Cheers to a good night and such wonderful people in my life! :)

Reed's hair cut!!

I cant believe it! !!

The 'Old man' of the house shaved 'it', all by himself!

He shaved the beast,  aka, dead animal off of his face. ...

(I will forever remember our 4 month journey, together;  i hope you sleep well in the landfill! !)

Ahhh, Look at his new baby face; sweet Boys all together! :)

Aurora attends a Birthday Party

Aurora is 'coming of age' and almost ready to go alone to birthday parties!

I am really happy about this step foward, in her life. Haha!

Her new sunbeam, class friend invited her on Saturday!

I tried to 'prep' her up for this, so she felt more comfortable; being left.   After a few goodbyes and backpack adjustments,  she was ready (as long as her sister would be with her,  of course;)

Thank goodness that Kalaya doesn't mind birthday parties (maybe actually loves them), so they went 'Hand in hand'.

What a fun party, little friend Sabrina's was! Dancing, crafts, food and cupcakes.  Yummy! They were having a great time!

Aurora was having a great time but didn't want me to leave for much time; but however,  I was able to break away to go home,  and stare at my unwashed dishes.

-Booyah: Mission accomplished! !

*it was a fabulous start for this little ladies's, birthday party future!

Bravo,  my brave Aurora and Kalaya!
Xoxo :D
