Going to Miami!

What a fun adventure it was to go to Florida!  :)

The flights were a true test for me!  But what a wonderful opportunity to see our awesome cousin's!  The kids were beside themselves when they saw their cousin's! !!

Let the fun begin! :)

We flew in late on a Thursday night,  after a few delays!

Really got settled in on Friday; and had the pleasure of meeting up with daddy ( who busted his hump to get there with us)!  Him and Uncle Mikki were chatting it up the whole time - what brotherly love!  ;)

The Florida Jarman's were so accommodating and made us feel so spoiled!

That night we had a fun time enjoying their cool backyard!  What joy it was;  motorcycles, swingset, trampoline,  wii 2, airplane parts!  What more could some kids ask for!  :)

Saturday we went to South Beach!  What a fun place to be;  apparently we were 'lucky' because we witnessed some schools of fish and some hungry sharks.  So glad that daddy didn't lose a leg!!!!  We then visited a park that had some amazing trees and shrubbery! Wow, the roots were crazy on some of these tree's!  And the huge spiders were a site to see!
The web's were large and 'in charge'; very un-distructable!

We also.spent some time with the Alligator's and swamp ! Wowzers those things are creepy; but the tour guides tried to convince us otherwise!  It was so fun going for a ride on the Airboats!

We had such an enjoyable experience! I could stay in Miami forever!  The weather was perfect! !!:)

*& yes the cousin's are already missed!

Sailing a Boat!

Levi has wanted to sail a boat for a very long time! He wanted to make it and then sail it in a Lake! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for making this all Happen! :)

Features:

-a balancing rod,  to help prevent  'tip-overs'

-a sail made out of thin plastic milk gallon fibers- professional grade!  ;)

-a deep rooted mast.

-a leash cord to aid in boat retrieval.

*So it was more time to test it out.  But there were a couple of surprises towards the end!   The boat started falling apart and all of a Sudden Bayden became very upset.

Movie Time! :)

The kids have been beyond excited; to use our free kids meal from the Harkins Theatre (summer pass ticket purchase)!

So today was THE day!  :)

We went to see the new Disney movie, PLANES !

They surely enjoyed their snack and the movie!

-There were only 7 people total in the theatre!  So I let the kids run around before it started!  And we had the "best seat in the house"  said Levi!  Yup the very back row, at the top....   Good thing i have him to remind me of these things! ! ;)#goodtimes

I am so thankful for my kids! ! They are so helpful to eachother (especially when we are 'fatherless')!

Surprise Anniversary Gift!

So it was a crazy "Labor day" morning when Reed wanted to take me on a drive;  with the kids!  :)

-I was totally unsure of the activity that he had planned. All I knew was that it was 'messing up' the kids plans to go up to Pinedale with the cousins!  :P

I was thinking, hot air balloon ride? ??...  but then quickly wrote that off,  because we were driving past the area!  :p

Then all of a sudden we drove up to a huge hanger!  With 2 huge' beautiful' Stearman inside!

Wowzers, I started getting nervous! I thought,  this is it!  Reed wants us all to get in a plane and 'crash to our quick death'!

As I walked up Larry walked out and greeted us; & quickly called me his 'victim'! :P

We had to stall for a while and make sure that the wind appeared.

After he showed us his fabulous hanger with his 'home away from home' inside!
He is such a generous man!  We had a good chat about the Stearman's that he had and the 'great' condition they were in.
Then we got ready for the flight.

-I told him,  'yes, unlike my husband: this was my first flight (in a small aircraft).  So he was extra good to me.

*To be honest, I wasn't scared!  My family was on the ground & that's all that mattered to me!

After a quick take off, it was a fabulous flight!  Not at all windy and very peaceful!  Reed said that it lasted 20 minutes;  I say less then that ( it was glorious,  went by too fast).  "I see how people get 'lost' up there"!

We then Made a quick fly by to wave at the family then a quick turn around to land.

The landing was a little 'hard' on Larry;  but good thing he was used to the cross winds!

Overall;  it was a fabulous surprise and the kids enjoyed it too ( cruising on a golf cart while I was gone ).

I am so happy to have 'found & married' my soul-mate!

FYI, a word of advice: If a pilot asks you, " how the ride is going";  don't respond  "this is so relaxing".  Because apparently they like to make it 'not so'! ;)

Mother Daughter activity!

We had such a fun time at our ward's Carnival Themed Mother Daughter activity!  :)

Grandma, aunt Hannah & aunt Emma were there too!

We had such a great time, with them! :)

I love my girls so much!
What joy they bring into my life!

Cheers, to many activities with the girls!
