Christmas Evening

It's better late then never I figure.

We had a good time at the Jarman's for Christmas Evening! Nana did a great job with the festivities! We ate yummy food all fixed by her, of course - and then enjoyed a gingerbread house contest.

Levi and Dallon were the superstars for our house.  I kept trying to push them, to get going. But they really were enjoying their time building.... It was funny to watch!

Sure enough our House fell apart during the challenging "transport to display table" portion,  it was funny to watch.

I am grateful that they both were lighthearted & had a good attitude it though!

The grandkids all were spoiled, afterwards!! Reed hosted the Annual Auction.  That everyone contributes to.  It usually takes the kids a few minutes to get the hang of it, then the bids are jumping!

The most valuable gift, seem to be the old Nintendo place-set, that was wrapped. Which Levi somehow convinced all of his cousins to gife him money to purchase.

Afterwards, Nana pulled out the gifts she wrapped for each of the grandkids!  She really does a great job, picking gifts for each of them!  The gifts varied from a Ripstix for Levi, to a talking bunny for Sariya.

Then Nana started the adult present exchange.  **{Weeks previously, she gave us and sealed envelope full of the instructions, and a particular amount of money to "purchase our ideal gift for ourselves".  Which we could not disclose to anyone, because differences could occur.}**

She then gave each one of us a different gift, to open. After that, we had to decide which gifts, were purchased by whom.  We got additional gifts, presents, and gift cards if we;  chose correctly or got the closest to the spendable gift amount, most unique, or quickest to deliver -etc.

It was Hilarious watching some of the gifts, and seeing who thought ---who bought what.
Reed even tried on a dress! We thought he might rip it or something, but he didn't.  We got a good laugh!

 1) Reed purchased some goodwill clothes, & a remote control car.
2)I got a little tablet, "Mrs. Know Everythig mug" and sour patch kids.  It was funny!

However the highlight of the evening was when Mikki pulled out his medical kit and started to cuting out a cyst or growth that he had on Reed's side...   He was squirming and about to pass out from seeing the needle and 'imagining' what was happening.  It was a little funny/sad at the same time.

Nana was a great help, of course!

The funniest part was when Reed was getting nervous, about the numbing wearing off....  I kept having to reassure him that he was fine, while his brother was getting work done...  He then reminded me how "amazing I am and how he couldn't ever have birthed a baby".  Lol!πŸ™…πŸΌπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

**update it all healed up and the fibrous mass wasn't anything to worry about**
